Mission 1: September 24, 2007: Wilson DART and Country K-9 Rescue helped to collect and find homes for dogs after a structure fire destroyed their home.

 

Mission 2: September 29, 2007: Wilson DART collected and has a member who runs a rescue group fostering an elderly dog after his owner was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery.

 

Mission 3: October 7, 2007: Wilson DART received a call in the Mt. Juliet area for a stray cat that had crawled down head first into a 10.5 foot high block wall. The cat was wedged down in the bottom of the wall. Permission was granted by the home owner to break into the blocks in order to access the cat. Assistance was given by the neighbors next door. The cat was successfully rescued with no serious injuries and will be up for adoption.
