HOW TO LOCATE MISSING ANIMALS:
Macon County/Lafayette
- Livestock are located at the Stockyard in Lafayette, TN (Macon County)
- Companion animals (dogs, cats) are located at the Armory in Lafayette, TN (Macon County) and are being sheltered by the Humane Society of the United States.
- Two dogs from Lafayette, TN (Macon County) were surrendered by their owner and are located at the Wilson County Humane Society. Freckles and Sweetie are tornado survivors and are in need of adoption.
Trousdale County
- All animals from Trousdale County that were rescued by Wilson DART the night of the tornado have been returned to their owners.
